I had to place foam tape inside the filter access panel to properly install this filter and ensure unfiltered air was not entering the filter. In addition, the filter now squeaks after the first cleaning/rinsing/drying when the air conditioning fan is switched off. After cleaning, I took out the filter 3 times to see if there were any loose parts of the frame, but everything is fine and I couldn't find any problems. Some time must have elapsed after the cleaning spray/water has been applied. The unit was dried as instructed and lightly sprayed again before it could be dried and reinstalled so I can only explain the creaking/seating by material change/shrinkage. This type of noise occurred when disposable filters needed to be replaced because they could retain particles and the AC fan's force put higher internal pressure on the filter. For these reasons I can only give this filter 4 stars. I'll update after the next cleaning to see if the creaking goes away after the cycle or not. If it wasn't for that it would be a lot of money to spend on something that squeaks and I know it's clean as I've seen any previously trapped solids come out during the wash. replaced and although this filter has been cleaned to specification I can no longer recommend it. I've heard about air restrictions and how our new adjustable oven needs to speed up to keep the airflow where it needs to be. The AC technician said this filter media was too limited. I asked him to take a look and see if I need to clean it again and he said no it was clean (3 weeks ago) and that this environment was too close together for our high performance system and prompted us to Returning to Traditional Merv 11 filters and changes every 2 months as our two stage AC system lasts no longer than a single stage. Now I have an expensive filter that I can't use and 2 1/2 bottles of cleaner. ****
