I ordered this for my neighbor's 6 year old boy's birthday. He is like a grandson to us and loves to box. We wanted it set up for him so he can start using it right away. When I opened the box I was pleasantly surprised at how thick and durable the punching bag was! I used an air compressor to inflate it which made it a lot easier than inflating it with my mouth. It was great! I put water in the base to make it more durable what they recommend is sand or water. Since we gave it away, we made water. An adult could use it to kick if they wanted to, but our neighbor is having fun and enjoying his gift. Highly recommended.
