Review on 🔥 Walker Exhaust 53901 Exhaust Pipe: Superior Performance & Durability by Shawn Hodges

Bought this for my 2012 F150 5.0 XLT with bolt on cab and couldn't be happier. I used the Flowmaster Outlaw Extreme muffler with the standard resonator and Roush CAI, but I still felt like it was missing something. Then I came across this running tube and what a difference! This thing really opened it up! The truck finally has that deep tones and aggressive, raspy sound I've been looking for! In terms of sound, 10/10 is a bit low. The setup for me (another outlaw silencer flow meter) required some work. I had to cut about 4-5 inches off the pipe so it could slide through the muffler. It doesn't matter to me, I just used a Diablo hacksaw and it sawed with no problems. I put it on the muffler and tightened the clamp until I can remove it for welding. The flange bolted directly onto the OEM side and I was able to reuse the OEM bolts. I used a 13mm crusher and then a percussion gun to get them out. It was not so bad. All in all it took me about 30 minutes. Hope this helps someone else. Highly recommend if you really want to open up this 5.0 and give it a Mustang feel. If you're like me and love your neighbors, then this thing will really make them love you in the morning.
