I have two of these monitors and they are set up as dual displays in my office. One was made in September 2009 and the other in March 2010. So one has been in service for over six years and the other is not far behind. I've never had any problems with either monitor. Besides using it for my CAD software at work I play games from time to time and watch a few videos about it so the image quality was the best you could get in this price range (<200.00) at the time their production. .After a few years newer screens with better resolution appeared and this is the main reason why HP discontinued them. They air well on an open table with a few inches of moving airspace between them and the wall. I add this as one of the reasons I have received exceptional service from the mine for several years. If they were available today and I needed a different setup than what I have now I would have no hesitation in buying again.
