Reasonable price, I've welded a lot of stainless steel in the past when I've worked in the workshop. We have always bought er308l wire. I had a small exhaust project here at the house and didn't need a 40lb coil. Welds were ok. Not the nice smooth seam I'm used to, but satisfactory for the job. It was very picky about its position, which also struck me as odd. It welds better down a slope than on a flat surface. I don't know how not to say it, it's been a while since I've welded stainless steel. It worked. And my mate was happy with his exhaust and I think that's all that matters. I will note that the 2lb coil was almost half lost in an exhaust (feedback) design.
