They were immediately comfortable and fitted well. I bought a10.5 and I have a narrow foot. I like the heel area because it really absorbs shock. I bought them to be able to walk on a forest trail. I can run comfortably over rocks, roots, and mud with full support and shock-absorbing cushioning. I've had them for 6 months now and according to my pedometer I've walked over a million steps in them and they're still as comfortable as they were new. I would recommend these for trail use or even as good pavement shoes due to the cushioning. I will buy another pair when the time comes to replace these.
