Description of 🎨 Quart-Sized Clear/Amber Anti-Slip Paint for RTG Deck, Porch, & Patio

Fast-drying, textured paint provides an attractive finish & secure footing on exterior surfaces that become slippery when wet. Great for decks, porches, patios, stairs, ramps, and much more. Traction additive is not abrasive like other anti-slip coatings. Easy to apply by brush or roller (1/4"-3/8" foam or nap roller cover for surfaces with a smoother texture; 1⁄2"-3/4" foam or nap roller covers for masonry with deeper texture). Durable coating withstands heavy foot traffic and harsh weather without fading. Eco-friendly, low-odor, low-VOC, water-based polyurethane formula can be applied to properly prepared sealed concrete, masonry, and wood. No priming necessary. Cleans up quickly with soap & water. Choose from 4 neutral colors: White, Light Gray, Sand & Clear/Amber. One quart covers 80-100 sq. ft.

Provides good sealing and grip. Buy extra if it's cold.

This clear amber non-slip coating thickens and covers well but when applied in cooler climates than recommended I have learned to order an extra liter as it tends to thicken and does not meet the recommended coatings under these conditions. It's good as long as it lives up to expectations. I would love to use it again but remember to get more when it's cold it's preferable to apply it in warmer conditions.

Not so good - paint and primer

Onto a small platform of my toy tractor, 7x7, with a 3/8 stacking roller. 1 liter will not cover the area, I bought additional materials after reading reviews it cost 4 liters. double coat, triple planed, applied in the sun then heaters on, after 2 days it still hasn't cured, it can be scraped off with a fingernail, very expensive for an inferior product, doesn't cure that quickly, I'll see if i can return my money, the roller i used it was laid out but not dry yet.

Paint is peeling off in streaks

At first I thought it was a good product but after a few months of weathering the paint is peeling off in long streaks and is peeling off the wood surface. Proper cleaning preparation has been made to ensure no peeling old paint is left before using this paint. Where the niche was sheltered there were no problems, but the outer exposed part and the steps exposed to the rain left poor results. It was an expensive product and I looked at least a few years. Unfortunately this was not intended.

Cover doesn't fit! #update bubbled up when it rained!

I was skeptical about the claimed coverage, and with good reason. I needed twice as much material as suggested, even with a higher order quantity. I also got a SAND color which was as close to white as possible, my white posts are the same color. After using 5 liters of product for an area of 220 square feet, I ordered another 2 liters of tan hoping it would cover the white (sandy) layers sooner. It rolls well and has light sand so I'm hoping it will work for my application. ###UPDATE As soon…

We converted an old door into a ramp for our senior dog

Our dog's back legs are no longer working and I wanted to buy a ramp so he can go outside when we carry him. My husband ransacked our garage, found an old door and some bricks, and turned them into something amazingly durable. And free! Hooray! But dew or rain made it slippery and something had to be changed. Poor rickety dogs must be trusted with the surface beneath. So we bought this color, it lasted two coats and is absolutely perfect. The dog trusts her, she doesn't slip and we're blessed…

Really good and durable work. You will need a larger jar

No, that's not a lot of product. It must be purchased in gallon sized quantities to be used for most applications. Mainly because it works so well yet so easily barefoot, on humans and pets alike. I would buy it by the gallon and keep a gallon on hand for a touch up. The anti-slip factor in this paint also works well in frost, heavy rain and ice! And let me add that this was a primer with paint (enamel) applied to it for the porch floor and it does the job well. So please let us buy the right…

Cooked from the first rain

I DO NOT recommend this product. I bought this because of the great Revain reviews. First, it doesn't cover anything close to the advertised square feet. We needed 2 of these expensive spray cans to paint a 4ft x 12ft porch. A different glass could really have been used. We were happy with the look and texture until the first rain about a month later. I live in Phoenix, Arizona and we prepped and painted it in early February (3 weeks ago) with daytime temperatures around 60 degrees. It had been

doesn't last. in paint, wall maintenance and accessories

I bought this top coat based on reviews on several websites. It sounded expensive but it was worth it as this paint was developed for boats and made to last. I ordered from Revain in June 2019. I prepped my deck with a pressure washer and let it dry completely. I followed her instructions but found I needed twice as much paint to cover her in one coat. Also, I ordered the "Sand" color but thought they mixed up their labels because it was quite bright white. Since my wife said everything was…

Great paint - does what it's supposed to!

I like this color very much! I ordered white paint and used it to paint the small 4 x 8 foot wooden deck that leads to our guest house. This made for a non-slip surface that was very comfortable on the feet (not rough, just textured). I used a 4 inch brush to apply. One coat was enough to get full coverage. I find that the white color has a subtle blue-grey tint that is very pleasing. Unfortunately, it didn't match our white color. The house has a yellow tint, so we painted over that color…
