I have used these hinges before for my bathroom renovation. When I renovate my kitchen now, this is my choice for a high-quality soft closing hinge. My cabinets overlap by 1/2" and these soft close hinges allow for some adjustment to get the soft close just how you like it and reduce the gap when your cabinets touch (left/right pair ). I prefer this over the cheaper compact hinge as it keeps the distance between the front of the cabinet body and the front of the cabinet door to a minimum, allowing the front of the cabinet to lie flatter against the surface of the cabinet body. This set is convenient in that it includes ALL the necessary details, as well as decorative covers. Mounting plates, hinges, decorative covers and screws are included. These screws are of good quality. I tried this hinge with a cheap screw from a big store and the head of the screw broke off. Decorative lids are not required, but they are a nice touch! Highly recommended for anyone who needs a great smooth-closing cabinet hinge with adjustable and exquisite appearance.
