Review on Riedell Skates Roller Skate Light by Jeff Sprunk

I've had these skates for about a year now. I don't ride every day, but maybe 1-2 times a month. The skates are in great condition and still look great! They are very durable. My main complaint is that the wheels and bearings are junk! I mostly skate (races, not derbies) indoors on covered and uncovered trees. These wheels are very slippery for me! It's fine at cruising and light moderate speeds, but once you start pushing hard in the turns to gain speed, your legs will slip out from under you! First upgrade to 84a - 88a backspin or zombie reel hardness (reel size 62x42) and (no "speed groove") and abec 9 or higher ceramic coated bearings! You won't believe how much less effort it takes to get up to speed and stick together! Just my 2 cents. Thanks very much!
