Not Perfectly Flat
This gasket either does not need to be perfectly flat or cannot handle the torque characteristics of the intake. When I tightened the air intake, an ear on the intake broke, meaning the shim had to be low in that corner. I bought a more expensive piece to prevent this from happening. Now I have to buy an upper intake manifold. Very disappointed.
