Bought two of these for a couple of game consoles that a couple of friends bought but wanted to add an extra hard drive. I was able to install one of them relatively easily. The other seemed to disconnect the hard drive from the connectors, so I had to add some elbow grease and maneuver the mounting kit until the hard drive connectors lined up with the PS3 SATA connectors. Once this was done it was easy to tighten the screw to hold it in place. The installation steps are simple: 1. Place the hard drive in the bracket with the screw holes facing down (towards the plate of the mounting kit).2. Screw four screws into the hard drive. Start with one and twist it in half, then go to the opposite diagonal corner and twist it in half. 3. Screw in the other two screws halfway.4. Start by tightening the screws, but make sure to align the edge of the hard drive with the edge of the bracket.5. Once all four screws are tightened, you can place the bracket into the PS3 and make sure the HDD connectors and PS3 SATA connectors are aligned.6. Once the bracket is flush with the inside of the PS3, you can tighten the final screw to hold the bracket in place. Attach the PS3 cover and slide it into place.
