Out of the winter For several months I've been wearing a 5 mm suit with thick gloves and booties. So that could be a factor, but not for sure.1. I have a big. I'm 5 feet 9.5 inches tall and weigh 172 pounds. Just the average height and weight of an average surfer. I say that because the average professional surfer is 5'9" and weighs 168 pounds. I had to scratch my head as my legs and arms climbed onto those limbs. I have broader shoulders/back and have to pull myself up a bit to zip up, but that doesn't explain the short legs. Too short for boots and gloves so it would be a 65-72 F.2 transitional suit. Test in water 58-60 degrees. It's early April so I felt warm pockets but the satellite showed 58 degrees of water. The lower part of this suit. I immediately felt water. Bright warm sun in the afternoon so it wasn't a cold day. The costume was cool. It was only a 15 minute test. I could feel the water running down my arms and legs. Though Core never froze. I only danced because the waves were small. Lots of water arms up while waving. So basically there is a lot of water exchange going on in this suit.3. Compared to my Wisla, this seems to be cheaper. For $75 I think that's what you get. This serves as a cool weather suit before the water temperature drops below 60 degrees. And in the spring. I think I'll pick a different Wissla for my surf in the 55-65 F range. It was hooded but stayed practically dry from head to toe in this suit.
