As you would expect, this belt sander works well with a 4Ah battery. Using a 4Ah battery I was able to get a decent 8-10 cu ft grind on a single charge. If you don't need mobility or need to grind a lot, you should look for a plug-in grinder for a lot less money. This sander met my needs for mobility and small sanding areas and managed to capture most of the dust. I haven't had any mechanical or technical problems with it.
