1993 Cummins Dodge Doesn't Work For Me

barr instead of my 1993 Diesel Dodge Cummins. I placed a tool in the flywheel cover and connected a couple of extensions as per the Dodge Injection Pump Removal video. I squeezed my ratchet wrench a little and nothing moved. Checked to ensure truck is off and tool is present. I tried again. There is no movement. decided that he had somehow missed the opportunity to straighten his teeth, so he tried to pull the instrument out. Can't get it out by hand. I spent about an hour prying it off with a screwdriver because the slip ring was stuck to the flywheel cover. Finally he took out the instrument and inspected it. The "slip ring" on the tool is like a rubber band and will not slip, allowing the tool to rotate in the flywheel housing. The angle of the extensions from the flywheel to the front of the engine bay is probably 35 degrees, putting pressure on the tool in the flywheel housing. The tool can be used where you shoot straight with an extension and a ratchet wrench. There's not much room between the exhaust and the flywheel cover on a '93 Cummins, so the Dodge video shows how to angle your extensions to the front of the engine bay.
