Update: It broke down, downgraded to 1 star. To be honest, these filters are just like the others that don't have an adhesive backing. Body. I found a problem with this type after realizing that the Ecotech filter shrunk in the middle after a short while (M113). After that I planned to just buy boosted filters, but I bought K&N anyway. The $7 upcharge is too good to pass up, especially as I'm planning a short window of opportunity to start cleaning this M112 engine. Although large, this filter is certainly nothing special. I'm totally against K&N gauze air filters, but I'm willing to use K&N oil filters. Some versions are good, but this one is not one of them. I will keep my nose and use it for 6 months.
