Helps with weak AM radios

Our house has aluminum cladding which negatively affects indoor AM radio reception. This loop antenna is tunable and helps clean up weak AM stations. It comes with a connection cable with 1/8" plugs that connects to the antenna and the other end is used to connect to your radio. My Sangean WR-50 radio doesn't have an AM antenna connector, so I cut off one connector. Connect the end of the cable and the two bare wires to the antenna screw and the ground screw on the back of the radio, I don't know if this is optimal.
