I had low expectations, but I'm pleasantly surprised. Is this a high quality kitchen tool? No, it's a $7 plastic gadget. The instructions were not in English. However, I found it pretty self-explanatory, and was able to find some tips on Youtube as well. (Basically: spray a little cooking spray inside to help it slide out, and to use the "plunger" to create a channel for the fillings.)For the price of a California roll, I can make neat looking ones at home, and my elementary-aged daughter can easily help. Now she gets sushi in her lunch whenever she wants.
