Marine environment only rusts
They are designed for boat/sea use. Bungee cord is great, well made and looks good. Clips are steel. In the marine environment, it simply rusts. You will end up throwing away the steel brackets. The seller should reduce the price by selling without the steel brackets or replacing them with 316 stainless steel.
