At first I really liked it because it was so accurate. After a couple of months we got a beep that required replacing the batteries. Good, everything is fine. Sometimes they lie for a long time before they are sold. I can handle it, I thought! Getting to the battery compartment wasn't that easy. I was able to do this with a very small eyeglass screwdriver (Phillips). Replaced battery and nothing. I get no screen, no sound, nothing! It's just dead. I think it was too much money for the lack of durability. I am completely disappointed with the lifespan of this thermometer! I would happily return it and get my money back or at least give me another one. Maybe I have a LEMON! I'm willing to try again, but I'm not paying for it! Can I get customer service contact information?
