This heater heats up to 78 degrees. I have to keep pouring cold water into the turtle tank to cool it down. Always 79 or 80 degrees. It definitely keeps the water warm. I like the digital display. This is a very good feature. One suggestion would be to make it manageable. I wish I could lower it a bit. Otherwise it is a good heater for my aquarium. Update: The heating no longer works. It has an E1 error stating that there is no more water but is completely submerged. I turned it off and waited overnight to turn it back on and it worked during the day and then stopped working again in the middle of the night. It was very cold in my turtle tank. I immediately had to put her in a sandpit with heating pads to keep her warm. Now I can't trust this heater to keep working when I sleep. And I've already passed the March 8 return date! π‘
