Reliable storage

I've only had this drive a few weeks but my previous 2TB worked flawlessly with DirecTV for 2 years. It's a bit noisy and the blue light seems to be flashing all the time. But that's in a place where neither is a problem. I obviously like it since I bought another one. I think the description says it comes with cables, but it comes with USB 3.0, an eSATA cable and a power adapter.
