I was the MOST knife sharpener in the family. When we went hunting, I always sharpened everyone's knives, and everyone else I saw needed sharpening. I've used Lansky systems (love them) and almost every sharpening stone available. My choice of hunting and fishing knives has always been my Lansky. However, a fisherman friend of mine told me about it - he has to sharpen his knives every night or he can't do his job. So I invested and made kitchen knives because I didn't want to waste my Lansky blades on my "good" knives. Man, I can't tell you how easy it is to make a really good, sharp knife edge. Eventually I gave up and tried my fishing knives, when I went out and got a good catch I had to butcher and bag the fish. I have used this Work Sharp tool on my fishing knives and couldn't believe how sharp they were, how strong the blade held and (most importantly) how easy they were to maintain this way. A few minutes on the knife and voila. I'm a believer, will be ordering one for each of my sons soon!
