They work great while they are fully charged but when they begin to lose their charge (in the middle of the night when everyone is asleep) they start to flicker. I often wake up in the middle of the night to work and when I look in the backyard, there is a "light show” going on. I have about 10 lights scattered around my flower beds and some are still fully on, some are off, and some are flickering. I’m sure this is due to the amount of sun/shade in the respective locations. I would rather the light to simply shut off when drained or weak…not flicker…flickering doesn’t help anything and is annoying (especially to the deer that used to traipse through my yard).
