Great option instead of big cleavage

I bought this for my wife because after quarantine she started writing and writing more letters and apparently hurt her thumb. She had some large splints for her fingers and hands which seem to help but overall they are very bulky. She wanted something less intrusive. I have attached photos to various fingers and as you can see it is a bit long for her thumb but does the job. It's not strong enough to keep him completely still, but at least gives her some extra room if she doesn't want to use a large prop every day. That being said, I don't think she'll be wearing this for more than 2 days in a row as I don't think it will work well either way. It tended to slip a bit, but that might be because it was too long for her thumb. She also ended up wrapping it with a small amount of medical tape to keep it in place, but less disruptive than larger braces. Overall this is a great secondary option, or even a better option overall if you have fewer injuries or are better healed than them.
