Bought the blue rose print. I don't know what the shell is made of or the printed material, but it's not breathable. To be honest it looks like a layer of plastic or a vinyl shower curtain. It doesn't let air through which causes me to pass out at a family member's funeral. Back then, I didn't even have an activated carbon filter. When you wear a mask, even if it's adjusted very loosely, every time you breathe, you pull the mask back and can't get oxygen properly, it feels like I'm suffocating. I have worn other types of masks (homemade and surgical) and they have not done this to me. I only bought this because I wear glasses and the nose piece is very useful.
