Review on πŸ“€ LG Electronics 3D Blu-Ray Disc Player with Wi-Fi and OREI 6 Feet HDMI Cable: Enhanced Entertainment Experience by Kelly Noonan

Minimum Internet Applications

For the price, this is a great player. It handles Blu-ray, DVD and 3D videos well. It doesn't have a lot of frills, but if you just want a player that can also play media (movies and music files) from your computer or other devices, it's a worthwhile purchase. This item is very compact, small. wider than a cigar box and half as high. The picture is great. Maybe it's just a placebo effect but it seems to be better than my 5 year old Samsung Blu-ray player which it replaced. The device itself only has power and eject buttons, so if you lose the remote, you're done. Please note that this also means that you cannot press the play or pause button when you are in the car. and the remote control is across the room on the coffee table. Therefore, the Wi-Fi function is practically useless, except for connecting to another device, e.g. B. a computer. The only app I've used is Youtube and there were long pauses in response when searching. Didn't try it with a direct ethernet cable, so it could have been a slow wifi. The video still plays without lag, but Youtube compresses its videos for this reason. It also has a Netflix app, but I haven't tried it, so I don't know if it falls behind there.
