Review on Faber Castell Pitt Artist Pens Assorted Painting, Drawing & Art Supplies by Amber Perez

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Great grips but wear out quickly. But would still like to buy back. Also recommend these instead of 8-pack.

These are great pens, but they wear out pretty quickly. I've only been using them for about a month and I'm already noticing feathering on the ends. My favorite pen in this pack is the one with the smallest tip, which writes smoothly and evenly. I've found that other pens are much more pressure sensitive and don't produce as consistent lines. It's not that big of a problem; it just takes more effort and a firmer hand to produce the same lines as the smallest pen. The quality of these pens, while short lived, is excellent and I would definitely buy them again. Pity, that the quality doesn't last longer, but I like the results I get, especially with the smallest pen, and I'm willing to repurchase for that reason. Another note: if you are considering buying these pens in sets of 8, I would advise you to just stick with the 4 pack. In my opinion, if you buy an 8-pack, you're only getting twice the price of each pen in a 4-pack. Each pen is almost the same as the previous one, except for the largest, which has a brush-like tip. You only get double the price of each pen in a pack of 4. Each pen is almost the same as the previous one, except for the largest, which has a brush-like tip.
