To be honest it works great but took a lot of research and finding the parts to get it right. No battery connection wires, no built-in fuse, no flat surface screws (screws included), no sealant. Is the manual translated from Chinese? and completely useless. Without a case, the controller is not waterproof. Some notes, the cable connection ports are weird, you have to open them to see where the cables go, not just insert the cables and tighten. You screw them in and that exposes a wire hole. then tighten. You need a good screwdriver with a small flat head. It is important to use heavy gauge 10 or 12 gauge wire for the battery controller. It needs to be fused, I put 30 amps on the line, I bought a sealed waterproof case because I wanted to install it outside of my trailer. Always attach the sling first and then the panel slings, otherwise the controller may be damaged. I still don't know what the mode button does? I just plugged it in and it seems to be working, the green LED indicates it's working, the red LEDs light up and blink when the sun hits the panels. in the dark, the LEDs light up to indicate the charging status. mine appears to be delivering a 14.2 amp state of charge and drops to 13.0 amps at night. seems to deliver a charge in any light, but I haven't tried off-grid rest yet.
