That's a great idea. There is a hiking trail near my house that dogs are not allowed on from May to September; unless it is a service dog. It's getting too hot to make him wear a vest and I didn't want to be disturbed every time someone passed us on the trail. I have his ID, but it doesn't readily convey the message that he's authorized to trace him. That little velcro does the job well. Happy puppy and no more annoying strangers. I wish it was a little bigger, maybe 1/4 inch or so. It wraps completely around the leash but hugs it snugly. Bought a second one to wear on a belt so passers-by can read the message too.
