Good size approx 24 x 24cm inside. The performance of 1300 watts is also good. Looks great too. I made a frozen pizza with french bread and didn't know it tasted so good. I usually blow them up and that's not good. The toaster rocks! I made Marie Callender's full size cakes. It shouldn't, but if you put it on a baking sheet you'll be safe. I also put a rack of aluminum foil over it. This keeps direct heat from burning the top and igniting the papery thing underneath. When it's almost done, remove the foil and let the top brown. No problem. A very proud price for a defect that I don't care about and that is not particularly noticeable. Very happy.
