Review on SmartDoor by PetSafe - Dog and Cat Door Activated by Collar - Ideal for Small to Large Pets by Teresa Wiggins

I have this smart door with this keypad so one of my cats can access the laundry room for HIS toilet and food to keep other cats away from her. Has worked well for 6 months. Then it died. I ordered a new one to replace the one that came with the door and it lasted about two weeks. The rubber seal didn't prevent water from entering the device and that was it. I'm ordering another one ONLY to have a spare so he doesn't have to stay locked in his room while he waits for the other one to arrive. Very disappointed with the durability of the device. At first I thought it was just a battery, but I was wrong. :-(
