the smallest OpenWRT router I've ever seen.

is the right travel USB stick. Connect to any public WiFi and hide your device behind a firewall. Easy to use and easy to set up. My VPN connections are always available. This is my third GL.inet. The GUI looks the same on every device, if you know one, you can handle them all.
