I purchased this set for my boyfriend. He wanted an off white square plate set. I saw this set that was the perfect color and square; not a perfect square it's a little round on the sides. This makes the plates and bowls a little softer. The one thing neither one of liked was, the cups are "Super Small"! The cups would be perfect for espresso but not for a good morning cup of coffee. Overall, this is a nice set!
