The original remote control was rarely used due to battery corrosion. Years later, home WiFi was extended to the living room, but the buttons on the remote worked intermittently and, despite my attempts to clean up the corrosion, weren't good enough to set up the internet. This replacement remote is inexpensive and looks and works just like the original. Set up the internet for Wi-Fi and access Netflix directly on the TV instead of through one of the other connected devices. Couldn't be happier with the remote control.
