I'm in the process of making a bird costume for my daughter and this blue color is absolutely perfect and goes perfectly with the fabric. The fabric is royal blue and the thread that arrived matches the royal blue perfectly. When it comes to loading, the bobbins are easy to load into my sewing machine. To make sure I ordered enough I decided to order this as I'd rather have too much than too little. The main reason for ordering this thread was that I had bought a few locally that came in a spool similar to this one, but every time I put it in my machine it cut off during loading. Not to mention it kind of clogs up and makes me stop every few inches. It's neither too thick nor too thin with this yarn, but I've had no problems with it clogging my sewing machine or tearing easily. Whether you're doing a small project or a large one, this thread is perfect.
