Lowering and cleaning the gas tank is more difficult, but it may save you headaches in the future. Is my pump clogged with dirt and feathers? What yes. Anyway, I cleaned the tank, dried it, got rid of any rust that was on the outside, painted it and replaced the old hoses. If you want to do something, do it immediately since this is your mode of transport. Don't forget to change the fuel filter as well.
