Works great. It lowers the tailgate in 4 seconds. not too fast and not too slow. The instructions could definitely be more detailed. You seem to assume that some details are already understood. The spacer nut (or rivet nut, or threaded insert, or backup nut, whatever you call it) needs to be knurled to prevent slippage after flaring. However, I couldn't tighten the ballscrew properly at all, as the nut started turning once the screw was tight. Thank goodness for screw lock. Speaking of screw lock, many other reviewers complained that the manufacturer didn't include one in the kit. However, since you only need to use a few drops, why would the manufacturer add it? A 1/4 oz tube of thread lock is enough to install over 100 screws. Yes, because they don't include it you might have to buy it, but everyone I know who works with cars already has half a dozen tubes of it laying around (because you can never find it). when you need it, so always buy another tube), so most people don't have to go out and buy another one.
