At first glance they really do look like real carbon fiber
The intake side needs to be about 2.5cm larger so it actually slides over the 2.5 tubes instead of just hitting them, but sucks overall the yoke so that I just suck welded the pot holder on one side. But they have held up very well, especially on the gravel track that I ride every day at work. I wash my car frequently and haven't noticed any major scratches as far as I can see and that's all that matters. Who cares if upon closer inspection it's a bad weld and nobody gets down to the floor to see it. Goes well with my dark look.
