So I used it to hang a small piece of wood under the back edge of my desk for modems, routers and the like. I screwed a few pieces of wood together, then screwed the L bracket onto the longer piece and 90 degree elbow. Works perfectly! However, if there was a threaded hole somewhere (where the rubber band with the clip angle is) it would be great so I could screw in a few more bits and create a small stand behind my monitor for things like the Rift's sensors. , headphone holder etc.
