I had cotton sleeves that I got along with. I smeared Vaporab on my heels and pulled my sleeves on before going to bed. I woke up in the middle of the night and took them off because they were uncomfortable around my ankles. I figured that was the price of getting rid of cracked heels. When I decided to try heel cream instead of Vaporab, these sleeves came about after I added the cream to my shopping cart. I didn't think it would be much better than the others, but I decided to give these a try because I figured I'd probably regret it. This time I'm glad I went on an impulse buy. I love it. They are so comfy I don't wake up. I forget they're on until I emerge from under the covers. No more dents around ankles after removing. I can't believe the sleeve makes me feel this way but I love them. I'm glad I get them every time I put them on my feet. I'm sure it all depends on your foot/ankle size. I wear 8-9 shoes and feel like I have big ankles. But the material itself is much better than cotton for me. Very light and comfortable.
