Review on πŸ” Enhanced Beck Arnley 044-0331 Automatic Transmission Filter by Matthew Coste

Good product. Here are some tips.

Very high quality seal and filter. The rubber seal was the same as the original which I removed. I am very satisfied with this kit. Some suggestions if this is your first time doing this (based on my installation on a Toyota Sienna): 1) Before you start, get a drain plug washer. The only place I found them was at a Toyota dealership for $2. None of the auto parts stores had them. 2) You don't use any sealant on this gasket. 3) You will need an INCH-LB torque wrench. NO foot-pound torque wrench. Since it is a rubber seal, torque specification. quite low. For my sienna, that's 70 inches in pounds (about 6 feet in pounds). I could borrow one for free from Autozone. 4) The holes in the gasket for the screws are strong enough to hold the screws in place, so pre-screw them into the gasket before reinstalling the tray. This made it much easier to screw the studs into the block. Be careful as the metal you are walking in is relatively soft. You don't want to twist the bolts or, God forbid, break the bolt.
