I had a couple of the company's old discarded Latitude E4310 lying around and wanted to get at least a couple of them working. They came preloaded with 4GB of RAM, yay! (Because I thought they were 2x2GB sticks of RAM, which meant I'd have to replace both sticks, phew!) Anyway, this purchase allowed me to make the most of 2 of my old, discarded E4310s. The maximum supported memory is 8 GB. This, combined with the SSD on one of the laptops, brought this laptop into a very usable state. Even a laptop with a hard drive I had lying around was still very useful with the increase in RAM. I had one on Windows 10 and the other (hard drive version) on Ubuntu. Both laptops work perfectly and can now be used as test beds for anything I want to run on a Windows or Linux platform. I'm glad I still managed to find this RAM, I was afraid that laptops are so old that I won't be able to find spare parts for them!
