Some people play jigsaw puzzles and crosswords but I like to take broken laptops and give them new life for those who don't have a modern computer like I could give them. I revived such a broken laptop with this RAM and it works way better than I expected. The delivery was very fast considering the times we live in now. Top notch seller and I will buy from them again! I didn't test if this RAM would work with games as that wasn't the intended purpose of the laptop.

I needed to speed up my second laptop as soon as possible but needed confirmation that I have the correct memory to upgrade my HP ProBook 6460b from 4GB to 16GB. I contacted the seller and he promptly responded with a link to this replacement part that I ordered. It arrived the next day and I'm happy to report that the memory is correct, the laptop booted up with no BIOS errors, loaded Windows 10 and I'm now enjoying a noticeably faster Windows experience. Helped a good friend upgrade her Late 2012 Mac Mini. She had 2x2GB installed from the factory and going up to 16GB would have been overkill for her, so we went with that. Super easy to install and doesn't even require tools! to benefit from this Mac Mini generation for a few more years. Just do it!

I've had no luck ordering memory. You can't believe everything you read. On my two portables, one (HP) came with two 2G cards. Replaced with what should have been compatible, the computer did not start. Sent it back, went to another site and ordered again. Next Portable (DELL), the specs said it could handle a maximum of 16GB. Tried to update on two 8G cards and again without loading. Take it to tech school. Found link to 12B memory limit. I have an old laptop that has never been used and I figured I should upgrade the RAM in case one of my kids needs a backup computer . Installation took less than 5 minutes! I spent more time loosening the 9 screws on the bottom of the laptop than swapping out the RAM cards. super easy! The laptop booted up and there were no problems. The laptop originally had Windows 8 (bluff!) but I installed Linux Mint on it. I didn't even have to fiddle with special drivers for the touchmonitor.
