Compared to some other m.2 NVMe cases

Summary: Using SEKC 256 GB m.2 NVMe with a max speed of 1700/1000 MB/s (read/write) to cover these cases to test. Observations: Chassis Sabrent is Thunderbolt 3, which has a higher maximum throughput than USB-C. UNITEK and MOKIN are USB-C 3.1 Gen 2. SEKC claims 1700/1000 MB/s (read/write). I tested the Sabrent on a 2019 Macbook Pro with Blackmagicdesign, 1400/1200 MB/s (read/write). UNITEK ran at 800/800 MB/s (read/write) via a USB-C 3.1 port. MOKIN had a problem with the included USB-C cable and only worked at 400/400MB/s (S/W), but after changing the cable, the speed increased to 800/800MB/s (S/W), the same , the UNITEC. Both MOKIN/UNITEK devices transmit data at 400/400 MB/s (r/w) via the USB-A port. Recommendations: Your overall transfer rate is equal to that of the slowest component; In this case, all cases were the limiting factor, with sabrent being the least. Pros: good fit and finish; clear instructions; decent transfer speeds; includes a screwdriver (cheap) and extra screws. Disadvantages: none. Conclusion: For €30 there are 4 stars here.
