Either I'm an idiot or someone is lying. Before making this purchase I read the descriptions and customer questions to ensure this registered a new battery in the Audi A4 09 (knowing that this would be my sole purpose of purchase). Details, asked twice and confirmed if this tool does the job of registering batteries in 2 different Audi vehicles. However, there is no way to do this. The only function related to the battery is just checking the voltage. THIS IS A DIAGNOSTIC TOOL ONLY AND NOTHING ELSE, which is great! He alerted me to 3 burnt out speakers (I only knew of one) and took me straight to the internet with pre-filled part numbers to purchase a replacement. But I didn't need it for that. So I'll be back.
