This is the fourth Freeman product I have purchased. This is the first thing that didn't work for me. I only bought it to have one, I'm glad I did. The product is well made and easy to download and use. I've only fired through about 100 pins but haven't had any problems so far. It is small and can be placed exactly where you need it. The pins it shoots are the same pins every nailer on the market shoots, so I won't comment on how good they are as an almost invisible fastener (I know I just commented but I couldn't help it). Some people complain that tip is not a non-marking tip. That can't be, otherwise it would be too cumbersome to place the pin exactly where you want it. The key to using a nailer is knowing how to use it. Don't pinch the tip like you would when inserting nails. The tiny pistol produces very little recoil and very little pressure is required to keep the pistol on the work surface. If you leave marks on the wood, you are pressing too hard. About a hundred pins and no jams, no misfires, no problems at all. This is a very good tool that should have received 5 stars. The reason it didn't happen is because it's the only Freeman I've bought without a case. Of course they were all brittle plastic cases that eventually break, but that's at least something to keep them protected and dustproof while they're on the shelf until I can make actual cases for them. This is a great product that will not disappoint and for less than other brands. For those of you wondering, other Freeman products I've purchased are the Freeman PFR2190 21 Degree Full Head Nailer, the Freeman PFL618BR 3-in-1 Pneumatic Floor Nailer, and the Freeman PMC150 1-1/2 -inch metal connector. .
