Ideal size to put on the front door. I've got it in me now because we just built a house and there's red clay on the porch that needs washing up. I'm sure it will be good on the porch because the carpet has something to catch on. If you layer it it will also have some weight so it doesn't move. If you plan to use it indoors like I did, you'll need to place a rug handle underneath. It glides very easily. It's well made and thick. You can use both sides, but one side will show a folded edge as shown in the picture. The only reason I have 4 stars is because I have 3 ticks. Usually the hook can be fixed, but the rug is so tightly woven that I can't fix it. Aside from the driftwood, the rugs are the perfect size, well finished and I love the buffalo cage.
