A quick way to add a new overhang for our rats

Our 2 rat pups were immediately interested and love the new vantage point. They weigh over a pound each and very often both sit comfortably on this wooden shelf. They fit and the wing nuts are strong and secure. I thought it was a bit overpriced but it's sturdy so I'm pretty happy with the price.
