After a bit of searching on the net I found out that Isuzu built 1999 Holden Jackaroo in Olympic Edition V6 3.5 and Isuzu Trooper for this purpose is identical. The price for an EGR repair here in Australia was $800 so I decided to look for a cheaper alternative. Tried Ebay - $315 including shipping, Wreckers - $165 including shipping but used. So checked out Revain and found a $150 item shipping to Australia. The ONLY problem is that AMAZON has now marked this item as not shipping to Australia - too bad. The replacement took less than 10 minutes, the check engine light went out with Scanguage e and fuel consumption was reduced by 35%. Very impressive apart from the AMAZON shipping. All amounts above are in Australian Dollars with the exchange rate to Australian Dollars fluctuating at or above par. Also, the product arrived a week earlier than promised - that's good too!
