I love this pitcher. When I found out that "vent" was a refill hole, I liked it even more. (After I stopped feeling like an idiot for not realizing that before asking the question about it!) I don't like cold water, so this little pitcher is on the counter by the sink. I fill it with fresh tap water (through the opening in the lid) every time I fill my 16 ounce jar. I watch my water intake (at least 48 ounces a day), enjoy clean, great-tasting water without sending more plastic waste to landfill. Bonus: The small footprint makes it easy to lift and takes up little counter space. I bought my sister a second Nakii Aquaphor so she can drink cold water from her own jug in the fridge. This Nakii Aquaphor water filter pitcher works great. Great value for money.Nack
